Respite Care

Respite Care

Being the primary caregiver of a loved one afflicted with an illness or disability is a great responsibility. The time and energy required to provide continuous nurturing and quality care, while maintaining your work/and or family life can become strained. Planned, routine or emergency respite care can offer temporary relief to the primary caregiver and family as well. Respite care can vary from half days, weekends and/or several weeks. Our certified caregivers step in and provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and nurturing companionship, while the individual(s) relieved recuperate and tend to their own emotional and physical needs. Planned breaks provide primary caregivers well deserved rest, so they can continue to support their loved ones with the patience and dedication needed in the future.

Respite care can not only help alleviate the emotional and physical strain experienced by many primary caregivers, it can also provide a positive experience for the individual receiving the care as well. Take advantage of the opportunity and just enjoy interacting as the spouse, daughter/son etc. of your loved one. Our agency provides clients professional and experienced non-medical caregivers to assist with their individual needs in the privacy and comfort of the client home. Home respite care provides the client undivided assistance, attention and monitoring in the familiarity of their own home.
